Ain Shams University wins 20 medals in the championship of People with disabilities

Ain Shams University participated under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Fathi El Sharkawy, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs at the Championship of the Disabled Sports Meeting for Egyptian Universities held in Alexandria under the banner of disability. The winners of the university won 20 different medals between gold, silver and bronze in various individual and group games.

In the group games the team of bell ball and football won the second place, silver medal.

In the swimming pool, from the blind team, the student Ahmed Ashraf won two golden medal in crawl and back swimming, and student Mahmoud Yacout finished second place and silver medal in the crawl.

In weightlifting, Abdulrahman Ahmed won the gold medal in the 72k weight while student Mohammed Mansoor won the silver medal and the second place in table tennis. In the athletics, student Amin Ahmed won the throwing of the shot and the disc.

While student Jumaa Shaaban ranked second in the throw the shot, and in the athletics "chairs" student Abdulrahman Alaa received second place in the 100 m and the third position in the spear so the total medals 20 medals 3 gold, 16 silver and 1 bronze.

At the end of the ceremony, souvenirs were exchanged and some pictures were taken from inside the Palace of Saffron, hoping to expand their horizons of cooperation.
