Ain Shams University Signs Cooperation Protocol in the Field of Occupational Health and Safety Deployment with Ministry of Manpower

Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, signed with Prof. Mohamed Mahmoud Saffan, Minister of Manpower, a protocol of cooperation in the field of spreading the culture of safety and occupational health among university students.

Prof. Dr. Fathi Al-Sharqawi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Nazmy Abdel Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel-Hamed, Director of the International Cooperation Office of Ain Shams University, attended the signing of the protocol.

We believe in the role of Ain Shams University as a beacon of science and culture and because it has a great role to raise awareness among its students who have the duty to promote and develop the society. In addition to the importance of spreading the culture of occupational safety and health at the national level in order to reduce risks to safety the citizens of Egypt and work to provide a safe living environment.

Accordingly, the objectives of the Ministry of Manpower and Ain Shams University were to provide the means to promote the culture of occupational safety and health and to secure the working environment through cooperation between the two sides in motivating students and utilizing their creativity and creativity through the establishment of scientific competitions among university students and the holding of seminars, conferences, workshops and other means that allow them to access information and data on occupational safety and health.

After passing this stage, the students' work will be evaluated and cash, in-kind prizes and certificates of appreciation will be presented to the first-place students.

At the end of the meeting, shields were exchanged between the two sides and some commemorative photographs were taken from inside Al-Zaffran Palace.
