Dean’s Message

The Faculty of Education operates based on a set of core values aimed at transforming both the shape and content of the education, research, and community services it provides. These values include creativity, innovation, partnership, openness, leadership, competitiveness, and international ranking, among others—values that establish Ain Shams University’s Faculty of Education as a distinguished educational, cultural, and intellectual hub.

The faculty's development priorities focus on enhancing administrative systems, establishing internationally collaborative undergraduate programs, promoting educational research published in internationally ranked journals, and continuing the digital transformation of education, assessment, community service, and postgraduate studies.

To achieve its goals, the faculty adopts key policies, including teamwork and capacity building, strategic performance planning, openness to global perspectives, academic accreditation, and a strong emphasis on performance quality and continuous development. Furthermore, fostering a culture of change in both will and management is essential for all faculty members and staff. A leader alone cannot achieve a goal unless supported by teams that share the vision and work towards it collectively. This necessitates addressing resistance to change, as no educational reform can occur without facing opposition. The greater the scale of reform, the stronger the resistance, since vested interests are often linked to the existing system that is subject to change or improvement.

The faculty aspires to be an institution that effectively utilizes contemporary tools to navigate evolving global dynamics. It seeks to distinguish itself through progressive policies, mechanisms, and opportunities for creative and forward-thinking approaches. By ensuring the continuous enhancement of its educational outcomes, it aims to inspire and empower both learners and faculty members to maximize their creative potential, increase efficiency and effectiveness, and achieve a higher level of satisfaction among students, society, and the labor market, all while aligning with the requirements of sustainable development.
